Board Meeting Today
The HOA Board will hold its regular monthly
meeting today at
the Ramada at 1:00. A copy of the agenda is included at the end
of this memo. If you want to read the minutes of previous
meetings, they are available on the website
esperanzaestates.net. |
Coffee & Donuts
The Cookes and
the Millers will
be hosting their monthly free coffee and donuts at the Ramada
this Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. It's a great way to wake up and warm up on a chilly December morning. |
Arts Club Meeting Wednesday
The EE Arts Club has many great plans for 2015,
and it's never to late to join in the fun and discover your
talent. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 10:00
a.m. in the
Ramada. |
The Last Picture Show for 2014
Thanks to Kevin and Linda Welsh, there will be one more Wednesday night
movie in 2014.
The 2013 movie 'The Christmas Candle' will be shown. Set in 19th-century England, a minister's quest to
modernize his village puts him at odds with people who believe that whoever lights the candle that an angel touched
will receive a miracle on Christmas Eve.
Hot chocolate will be provided; attendees are asked to bring
cookies and a donation for the food bank. Heaters will keep you toasty. Arrive in time to grab two cushions
for your chair--one for the back and one for the seat. Start time is 6 p.m.
A donation to the Arts Club is appreciated.

Hip Hip Hooray!
Cheers to the Hospitality Committee for providing a great
evening to a record setting 138 people at the holiday party last week. Let's keep the trend going
into 2015. Thanks to all the members of the committee for
working so hard to give us a good time. And those cookies were
wonderful. Special thanks to the grilling trio of Sam
Barnard, Dave Sielken and Jim Sourant and
to Rich
Thompson for
leading us in song. |
Median GrEEn
If you noticed the activity on Esperanza Boulevard last
week, you might have seen our own Barb
McCalpin directing
Pima County workers in low water landscaping on the median just
north of EE. What an improvement! We'll all enjoy watching it
grow. |
Luminarias
The residents of Circulo Napa will delight us all with their
annual luminarias display on Tuesday,
December 23, starting at dusk. This display gets
better every year, so don't miss it. |
Do You Rent Out Your EE House?
Webmaster Craig
Surprise has
compiled a list of useful information that may be of interest to tenants. Check out the list on the website (esperanzaestates.net) and
print out a copy to give to your tenants. |
Got Magnets?
Forgot
to take your name tag off? Wore it home on your shirt? Tossed
it in the laundry? Now that tiny magnet has found it's way into
the void of single socks--never to be seen again? Afraid you'll
be anonymous at EE functions forever more?
Never fear. Magnetic Melodye
Cooke can
supply a new magnet for your name tag for
the low, low price of $1, and that includes shipping and
handling. So call now--or at least before midnight some
night--to take advantage of this special offer. Really, call now
at 399-0455 to
let her know--so that she can order in quantity and save $$$. |
