Cure Boredom with the Board

They're back!  It's the EE HOA Board back in session this month.  Mark your calendar now, while there's still some empty space.  Monday, September 15 at 1:00 pm those familiar faces will gather to conduct business once again.

Pickleball Prep 

Courtmaster Kevin Welsh is busy sprucing up the EE pickleball courts this week to prepare for the 2014-15 winter onslaught.  Washing down the court and repainting of the lines should be finished in time for an 8:00 am start this Saturday. Get your practice time on the courts now to sharpen your game for the winter crowd.  Never played?  EE pickleball enthusiasts would be glad to teach you.  Just drop by. No reservations required. 

Save the Date 

Well, there's not really a date locked in yet.  Just save all those Saturdays in February of 2015.  The Green Valley News reports that a gift from the Tohono O'odham Nation may make another Green Valley Council Hazardous Waste Collection Day a reality.  If you've been trained to assist with these events, your presence will be very much appreciated.

This project kept 16 tons of pesticides, paints, automotive fluids, batteries, drain cleaners and fluorescent bulbs from polluting our groundwater last April. The 2015 event is not a given yet.  More funding may be needed.  To make a contribution in support of Hazardous Waste Collection e-mail inquiries to info@gvcouncil.phxcoxmail.com or drop by the GVC office at 555 N.
