Monday Morning Memo -------------- Sept. 29, 2008

Good Morning:

Tom is traveling is traveling this week, and he asked me to put together a Memo.

Have you heard? Green Valley is getting some really positive national exposure. U.S. News and World Reports is listing Green Valley as one of the best healthy places to retire.  It is in the Sept. 24th addition. You can check the article out yourself on line at:

http://www.usnews.com/articles/business/best-places-to-retire/2008/09/18/best-healthy-places-to-retire-green-valley-arizona.html

Weeds continue to be a problem. Steve Brown continues to work with AAA to get them sprayed in the common areas. He reports that weeds in the area by the tennis court got major attention last week.

Remember, we are responsible for the removing of weeds on our own property. I think I have finally gotten mine under control.

The next HOA event is Oct 14 at the Sunset Ramada. The fun starts at 4:00pm with Al Bernardi's show "All about Produce...From Artichokes to Zucchinis". You can read about it in the current issue of the Periodico. When I heard that he would be here I got excited. I have seen his show and look forward to seeing it again.

Immediately following we have Hamburger Nite at 5:00pm. This should be a fun evening. More details in the recently published Sept. Periodico de Esperanza.

Political signs  Obama Biden 1  McCain Palin 1 are not allowed in yards under our CC&Rs, but are allowed by state law during this 45 day period prior to the election.  Such signs must be removed promptly when the election is over. (within 7 days) Signs may not be placed in common areas.

Lastly, Esperanza Estates Homeowner Claire Coon lost 6 cloth shopping bags this past Sat. She inadvertently left them on her trunk lid when she drove off to go shopping.  She hopes that if you found them you would call her at 648-6762.

Enjoy the week.
