Bee Alert
A resident has reported a large bee population has taken up residence in
the 900 block of upper Circulo Napa. Use caution when walking in that
area.
The Book Club Returns
The EE Book Club will meet on Tuesday, October 15, at 2:00 p.m.
at the Ramada. This month's selection is Elsewhere: A Memoir by
Richard Russo. Book Club meetings are held on the third Tuesday of
each month at 2:00, and new members are always welcome. You can find out
more about the group and future books we'll be discussing in the
September issue
of the Periodico. Contact Cindy Krantz at 203-8292 or
krantzcindys@yahoo.com if
you have any questions.
Throw Your Hat in the Ring
Joe McCalpin, chair of the EEHOA Nominating Committee, reports
that the committee will meet next month to nominate Board candidates to
be elected by homeowners in January. If you are interested in
being considered for a Board position, contact Joe at 867-8067.
Name Tags
Ramada social events will be starting up before you know it. If you
would like a magnetic name tag to wear at these events, there's still
time to order one before the first event. The cost is $6.00 and the name
tag is well worth the price. To place your order, contact Melodye at
399-0455 or
melodyecooke@yahoo.com
Miss the Meeting?
If you missed last week's HOA Board meeting, you can read all about it
in Secretary Joe McCalpin's witty and informative minutes. You can
access them from our website at

Koffee Klatch Ken
Ken Miller, host of many a Coffee and Donut gathering, is under the
weather at the moment. It's reported that he's currently hospitalized,
but well wishes can be sent to his home at 949 Regalo. We wish him a
speedy recovery.
Hide the DEX
DEX directories have been plopped on area doorsteps recently. If you
notice one conspicuously residing on a neighbor's driveway, please take
a moment to drop it behind their patio wall--out of sight. No need to
advertise the fact that no one is home. |
