Monday Morning Memo

Shade Tree Park
At its meeting last Monday, the Board gave the final go-ahead to the EE Gardeners for the Shade Tree Park adjacent to the tennis/pickleball courts.  Residents have already donated $1,800 to the project, which is one-third of the estimated costs. The Gardeners will start their fund-raising efforts soon. If you would like to make a donation, contact Bill Berdine at whberdine@roadrunner.com.

Attention Canadians
On July 1, 2014, Canada implemented new anti-spam laws. We must have your explicit written permission to send email messages to you--such as the Monday Morning Memo, the Periodico notices, and any other EEHOA communications.  If we cannot demonstrate that we have your permission, our messages to you may be blocked as spam. (We're not exactly sure just how that part of it will work!)  We've already sent out a notice to each of the Canadian email addressees on our various mailing lists; please provide your permission for us to continue sending the neighborhood publications to you by clicking on the link in the email you received.
If you didn't receive an email, contact Craig (ee-webmaster@msn.com).

They're Coming!
From the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast, EE winter residents are marking their calendars for their return to Green Valley.  In the next few weeks events and activities around the neighborhood will start picking up.  Have an activity or interest group you'd like to see started in EE?  Barbara Copeland is compiling a list of your suggestions and will facilitate their organization.
Send your ideas to jlbrcopeland@aol.com.
