Hear Ye, Hear Ye, The Board Is Back In Session
The September board meeting will take place today at 1:00 p.m. at the Ramada.  The agenda is attached to the end of this Monday Morning Memo. As always, the board encourages residents to attend the meeting and welcomes their comments and questions.

Taking A Look Ahead
It's been quiet here in EE this summer. But, most full time residents have now returned from their summer sojourns, and soon winter residents will be heading back. Before we know it, the new activities season will be in full swing, and it promises to be a great one. We look forward to seeing many new faces at our gatherings, as many homes have sold in the last few months.  Our Hospitality and Enhancement Committees have some great events planned, the Gardeners will be beautifying our common areas, the new EE Arts Club has a few exciting projects on their agenda, the Home Tour will take place in the spring, and the Saturday Night Movies and monthly Coffee & Donuts will resume in October. There also will be more pickleball, tennis, aqua exercise and hiking. Isn't it amazing how many varied activities our community offers to keep people busy and involved?

September Periodico
The Periodico team is back at work after their summer vacation, and  you can expect the September issue to be delivered to you by email later this week. For residents without computers, printed copies are made available at the Ramada and hand delivered to those who are unable to get to the Ramada.  If you wish to receive issues by email, contact our webmaster at ee-webmaster@msn.com.

Found Keys
A set of keys was found and placed on a bench on the EE Trail just east of Portillo. They have been there for about a week.

Is Your Step In Stride?
An educational event at Valley Presbyterian Church this Saturday, September 22, from 8:00 a.m to noon, will help you answer that question.  At the event, you can learn about fall prevention, Tai Chi, vision, balance and the side effects of medications on falls.  Valley Assistance Services will provide a free lunch.
