Good Morning:

Quiet Week...

Neighborhood Watch Committee Chair Mary Beth Wallace reports that we need a volunteer for Zone 18 as a Block Captain.  Shelia Bennen has held this position for many years and as I reported last week she has recently moved to La Pasoda.

This zone includes homes from 942 to 1030 Regalo on the north side of the street and four homes on Holgado,151-163, and one Quad on the east side of the street. It is a great way to get to know your neighbors and does not require a lot of time. Contact Mary Beth Wallace, 399-0299 for more information. She reports: "We really need someone to step forward".

I received an email, this past week, from a long time resident of EE about another scam which this time involves your telephone. I pass it on for your information. Regardless how persuasive someone is on the phone, or how official they sound, do not press (dial) 90# for anyone, as that allows the caller full access to your phone line. I am told it also applies to your cell phone. If you want more info on this you can go to Snopes.com.

Hope you all have a good week

 Bruce
