And a Fine Fourth It Was
Sixty-five EE summer residents devoured Linda Sielken's secret recipe sloppy joes, cole slaw and chips at a flag-bedecked Ramada on Saturday night. Desserts abounded. Monsoon season clouds kept temperatures temperate. The Declaration of Independence was read. All that and-no mosquitoes!! Thanks to the off-season hospitality helpers for a great evening.
The next scheduled hospitality event is a Halloween Party. You have four months to get your costume ready.

Looking for something to do during monsoon season?
Check out Friends In Deed at 301 Camino Casa Verde. Most of us know them as a source for loaned medical equipment (call 625-1150 for more info), but they also provide transportation to medical appointments and offer group van trips to Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Park Place Mall, the Tucson Mall, Walmart and IKEA.  To arrange for transportation, call 625-4424.
Watch, learn or participate in wood-carving on Mondays from 8:30 am until noon.  Drop by and join in dominoes, cribbage, backgammon or your favorite game on Wednesdays from 9 am to 2 pm.
Enjoy refreshments, make friends and learn from guest speakers at the socials from 8:30-10:30 am on Friday mornings.  Give them a call or check out their website at www.fid-gv.org
