Green Valley, AZ

July 5th

Good Morning:

Fifty People enjoyed the annual 4th of July picnic at Sunset Ramada yesterday.  It was a beautiful evening, with the Ramada having been decorated appropriately for the holiday, and the Hospitality Committee in their usual excellent form. The Ramada was cool and enjoyable with the fans and the sun screens in use, and a beautiful place for a party on this, our nations birthday. The holiday fare provided by our Committee was delicious, and most appropriate for the occasion. We saw a few new people and were glad to have them join us.

The Board recently received the resignation of Alexander “Sandy” Reed from Board membership, due to some health concerns. We are very sorry to lose Sandy as he has been an excellent member of the Board and has taken on and completed numerous tasks effectively and well. He will be seriously missed.

The lamp head count now reflects a total of 99 installations, more than 25% of the subdivision.  Remember, if you are willing to do your own installation, call 399-0455 and a new lamp head and a light bulb will be delivered to you.

A part time EE resident, Marce Pross, has expressed an interest in joining a hiking group. If you know of such a group, please go to the Forum on our website, click on the heading “Questions Looking for Answers”, and reply directly to her. The website can be accessed by clicking on the link http://www.esperanzaestates.net Access to the Forum is obtained by clicking on it from the menu on the left side of the home page.

A leak in the pool equipment room caused the spa to be closed for a couple of days this week, but has been repaired.

Exercisers, remember the water aerobics group that meets at the pool three times weekly at 8:00 am Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Come on down and join in.

Have a good week.
