Dams Hold 
Thanks to the series of dams Dean Hess had installed a few months ago in the arroyos, residents of lower Napa and Portillo no longer think they have beachfront property.  In prior years, the monsoon rains carried a considerable amount of sand out of the arroyos creating quite a mess on those two streets. The dams were money well spent.

Monsoon Margarita Madness
More that forty EE summer residents met at the Ramada last Wednesday for another afternoon monsoon celebration. Tom Cooke and Ken Miller mixed up their magnificent margaritas; Kay Miller and Melodye Cooke served up the neighborhood kitchens' culinary contributions. A great time was had by all.  What great neighbors!  What a special neighborhood! 

No Board Meeting This Month

Nope.  Not this Monday.  You'll have to wait until September to see the EE Board in action again.  But you can bet that they're all still working to keep our HOA running smoothly all summer long.  And with our "thanks" their only pay.  So give a heads up to Eric Ellingson, Tom Cooke, Joan Moreaux, Ben Sheffield, Dean Hess, Joe McCalpin, Stacie Meyer, Sam Barnard, and Jim Lindbergh.  Take the opportunity to show your appreciation for their work in making EE the best place to live in Green Valley.
