Esperanza Estates

Green Valley, Az.

July 20

Good Morning:

Last Monday saw 108 degrees in EE, which was actually 3 degrees lower than the prediction. A bit of rain nearly each afternoon, but usually not measurable. An exception was July 14 (3/16 inch).

Work began late last week on the Ramada area concrete, and will be going on all week. Use of the Ramada will be restricted, but both entrances to the pool will be usable. Many thanks to Jim Sage and Joe McCalpin for the loan of their pressure washers to help accomplish this task. Financing is being provided by our Enhancement Team, and the labor is volunteer. The worst part of the job was power scrubbing the old paint off the concrete, which took nearly 3 days, and made one heck of a mess. Joe McCalpin, Jim Lindberg, and another volunteer have provided the bulk of the labor on this labor intensive job so far. The paint will go on this week after the necessary priming has been done. We think you will like the final outcome.

Our pool solar heater had some problems this past week and was inoperable for a few days; however in this heat it was not a problem. The solar heater has now been repaired and will operate normally.

Pretty quiet week here in EE, as is normal this time of year. Watch for a MMM supplement soon.

Have a good week. Pray for rain..
