Esperanza Estates

Green Valley, Az.

July 13

Good Morning:

It appears that a 100 foot section of hose and a nozzle has been stolen from the Ramada area. If you know anything about this, please contact any Board member.

Southwest Gas has advised us they will be working in the easement area from the pool south to the east subdivision boundary to replace the gas line. This is the easement between Regalo and Ensalmo. Work began July 10, and will continue for about 2 weeks. No gas customer will lose service during the work. Travel may be partly restricted on lower Napa during the project, but the road will not be closed entirely at any time.

There is a service available here in Green Valley called Tele-Care that may be of considerable value to some of our residents. It is a program whereby a caring adult will phone a resident each morning to make sure all is well. There is no charge for the service.

Calls are made between 7:30 and 8:30 every day, including Sundays and Holidays. The calls are made from the Green Valley Fire Station, at 555 N. La Canada.

If you sign up for the service and they don't reach you when they call, or if a close neighbor whom you designate cannot rouse you, they will call 911. They will send out either a Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteer, or the paramedics. If there is evidence you are inside and need help, they will contact the Sheriff's Office for permission to break in to render assistance.

If you are going to be away, or have an early morning appointment, you can notify Tele-Care a day or more ahead of time and they make note that you cannot be reached that day or days.

To sign up for the Tele-Care service, call either 625-1636, or 625-8292.

Preliminary work on resurfacing those portions of the Ramada floor which are of concrete will begin this week, and will continue in stages over this week and the next. Parts of the Ramada will be blocked off during this time, and we ask that everyone please respect the posted barriers. Neither of the entrances to the swimming pool will be impacted by this work.
