Esperanza Estates

Green Valley, AZ

June 6

Good Morning:

The Memorial Day potluck at the Ramada was attended by about 70 residents and guests, and was a fine evening. Many thanks to our Hospitality Committee, and all those who brought the fine fare.

Don't delay!  Friday, June 10th, is the deadline for submitting your photos for the Photo Contest in the next issue of the Periodico to Denise Roessle.

The HOA took a survey on the untrimmed palms, and found a number of residents have still not complied with the requirement that the trees be trimmed before the Monsoon rains and the associated lightning. Notifications have gone out and more will be going out in the near future to those who have not taken care of this, and if the situation continues, penalties will be imposed. If you are among those who have not yet handled this matter, consider yourself warned about the possible consequences. The Board does not wish to penalize anyone, but this is a safety issue and cannot be ignored. We have a history of lightning fires in untrimmed palms, and such fires put property and personal safety in serious jeopardy.

Please take care of this if you have not already done so.

For the next few weeks, the Monday Morning Memo will be written by HOA Board Secretary Joe McCalpin; it will come to you as usual, via your email account, or on the web site.

Have a good week.
