NO Board Meeting Today
There will be no Board meeting today due to lack of a quorum. 

If at First You Don't Succeed....Palm Trimming Today
The EE pool and spa area will be closed today Monday, June 15 for palm trimming. Hopefully clean-up will be completed in time for an evening dip.

Hospitality Meets Tuesday
Linda Sielken will be heading the Hospitality Helpers in hatching their plans for the Fourth of July celebration in EE.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the Ramada Tuesday at 11 am to organize the event.

Thanks for Volunteering
It's not a glamour job by any means, but thanks to Bill Mulcahay for volunteering to take out the trash at the Ramada.  Pat Sharpe has agreed to be his backup.

It's Official
Today is the official start of monsoon season, which runs until September 30.  But don't start checking out the afternoon sky in hopes of seeing those amazing clouds just yet. Typically, the storms don't begin until the first week of July at the earliest.  By the way, if you get any good monsoon photos, send them to the Periodico at cjsurprise@verizon.net.  Those of us who are away during monsoon season like to know what we are missing.  

Checked Your Gate Lately?
If you don't generally use your front gate during the hot afternoon hours, you may want to check it.  The heat causes expansion, and many gates stick during these times. While you can still enter and exit from your garage, visitors or delivery people may find it difficult to get to your door.
