Cinco de Mayo
EE residents celebrated in style with a Cinco de Mayo Ramada Potluck Sunday evening. Thanks to the Hospitality Committee for another great party. Congratulations to Jackie Rautio who made quick work of the pinata!

Wednesday, 7:00 p.m, at EE's movie palace on Ensalmo. Free popcorn is available with your donation thanks to Steve and Cheri Day's gift of a corn popping machine. Coffee's been discontinued with the appearance of warm weather, so bring your own drinks.
Showing this week: Silver Linings Playbook a 2012 romantic comedy/drama starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert DeNiro.

Calling All Cats
and cat owners. Last year, the Periodico featured some of EE's dogs, and this year cats get their turn. If your feline friend would like to be included, please contact Cynthia Surprise at cjsurprise@verizon.net or (857) 209-1978 by Friday, May 10 to arrange an interview and photo session.

Restrooms Get Final Touches
It was bugging Ken Adler ever since he started playing pickleball. The tiles on the roof edge over the new restrooms that are shown in the architectural sketches hadn't been installed. So last week he and his partner-in-crime, Craig Surprise, procured a few tiles and did the job. Ken says that not having the distraction of the missing tiles will improve his game considerably.

HOA Reaches New Heights
Thanks to a donation by Ken & Patty Adler our HOA now has its own 16-foot articulating ladder. This will make it a lot easier for volunteers to work on the tennis/pickleball building or the Ramada without having to scramble around trying to borrow a ladder.

If you need a Green Valley Community Directory, there are a number of copies available on the counter at the Ramada. To purchase an EE Names and Street Directory, call Mary Beth Wallace at 399-0299. New residents receive a free copy in the Neighborhood Watch new homeowner packet.

Carollee Robertson
The family and friends of Carollee Robertson, who passed away on May 2, will gather to remember and celebrate her life on Thursday, May 9, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Ramada. Everyone who knew Carollee is welcome to attend.
