Good Morning:

Today is Memorial Day, a time we remember those who have served our country, giving their lives for all of us while in the Armed Forces. It is also a time when we remember departed relatives and friends. Those of us from a colder climate think of it as the first day of summer and a great time for a party.

This is a reminder to help us celebrate with the Memorial Day Party at the Ramada tonight. Cocktail Hour is at 5:00pm with dinner at 6:00pm.  The menu includes all meat Hot dogs, Buns w/ condiments, potato salad, baked beans and beverages including beer, sodas, water and set-ups. BYOB.  The cost is $5.00 per person.
Remember to bring an item or two for the food bank.

Last week local HOA resident and former board member, Gary Chelseth, and I planted 3 dwarf bottle bushes just inside the main gate to the pool. I've gotta confess Gary did most of the digging. These bushes replaced 3 dead ones that Stony Brown had removed. It really looks nice.

The spa issues are hopefully over with the salt system and jets working properly as of Friday afternoon.

Tom always mentions when the ice breaks up on the Santa Cruz, so I wanted to do that too! It did just that this past Fri. That means we hit 100 degrees for the first time this year.
