Lord of the Rings on Tap for Movie Night
Kevin Welsh tells us that this week's Wednesday movie will
be The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey-- the 2012 offering in this
visually spectacular series. Show time is 7:30 pm. Your donation
to the EE Arts Club gives you free use of seat cushions, donated by
Enhancement, and popcorn prepared by Linda Welsh.
Board Brief
Last Monday's meeting of the HOA Board was so brief that participants
barely had time to settle into their chairs. In a bold move of weather
prediction the propane heaters were moved into storage under the
direction of Tom Cooke. Minutes from the meeting are available on the
web site (click
here to view.)
Don't Love Your Pooch To Death
Your four-legged companion may hate to be left alone at home, but this
time of year, you can do your pet a favor and let him stay safe indoors.
Taking Fido with you in the car can be a killer. Just ten minutes
shut in a car can do damage.
If you see someone else's animal in a car this summer, do the right
thing and call the Pima County Sheriff's office. They'll come out,
release the animal. and give the driver a ticket.
Fourth of July Will Be Heating Up
Grilled sausages and peppers will be on the menu for the EE Ramada
Independence Day gathering sponsored by Hospitality. The celebration
begins at 4:30 pm on Thursday, July 4th. Your $6 will also get
you potato salad, baked beans and beverages.
Current Hostess with the Mostest, Scottie Blum, is still looking
for Independence, too. So if you'd be interested in chairing or
co-chairing the Hospitality Group, give her a call at (520)-399-0955.
Enhancement Still Enhancing
Keep an eye out for the next step in dressing up the Ramada. Barb
McCalpin and the Enhancement Team-with the OK from the HOA
Board--are planning to add Mexican colored tile to the archways leading
into the pool area.
Like to dress up your home with Mexican tiles? Only within the
guidelines of the CC&Rs and with the approval of Architectural Control,
please.
