EE Board Meets at 1PM Today

Our EE Board convenes at the Ramada today at 1pm to conduct its monthly business meeting. The usual agenda is on tap.  In addition, the Board will consider a guest policy for EE.

Gardeners Meeting

The Gardeners will meet at the Ramada at noon today.

Donuts and Coffee Wednesday at 8 am

Coffee, donuts and good neighbors will greet you at the Ramada Wednesday morning courtesy of the Millers and the Cookes.  Drop by for a beautiful way to start your morning.

Wednesday Movie is Back

Bagger Vance is playing on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramada. Devastated by his experiences during World War I, once-promising golfer Rannulph Junuh has become a poker-playing alcoholic whose perfect swing is gone -- until mysterious caddy Bagger Vance enters the picture to help Junuh make a comeback.  Cast: Will Smith, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron.

Lamp Pole Down

When a lamp pole at the Ramada toppled over (a not uncommon occurrence in EE), the handymen trio of Ken Adler, Del Bean and Al Prato had it fixed in a jiffy.  Thanks, guys.

Yoga Schedule

The last class for chair yoga is this Wednesday, April 22.
The last class for gentle yoga is next Wednesday, April 29.

Snake Loses Its Grip

After three years in the EE park without harm, our beloved ceramic snake has suffered some minor damage.  A walker discovered some bits of a cup handle on the street below the snake.
Please remember: our snake has fragile parts; please exercise caution when walking around it.

Thanks for the Party

Thanks to the awesome Hospitality Committee for introducing us to Coney Dogs.  Jim Sourant was the grillmaster and he had the good sense not to wear one of those [flammable!] paper hats.  Even though many residents are heading home this month, the Committee's season isn't over.  Still to come are celebrations for Cinco de Mayo and the Fourth of July.

Aging in Place

The Green Valley Council will host a 'webinar' (web seminar) to help HOAs prepare for successful long-term living for those who will age in place where they are right now - living in your association.  The webinar is on Wednesday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m. at the GVC office at 555 N. La Canada.
To reserve a seat, call 648-1936.

Long Term Parking Precaution

Leaving your car in long term parking at the airport while on vacation?  Leave your garage door opener at home and take the registration and insurance information with you on your trip--to thwart thieves who could use the opener and the documents to their advantage in your absence.
