April 11

Good Morning:

Our Hospitality Committee will be trying something new on Tuesday, April 12th:
Hotdog (a.k.a. 'Frank') Nite.  Enjoy a Hebrew National, 1/4-lb all-beef frank on a bun with your choice of chili-onions-cheese, served with chips and a soft drink for just $6 per person.  Get a second frank for half-price.  Such a deal!  Come on down for a real treat and something new.

Just a reminder: Free Coffee and Donuts at the Ramada on April 20th at 8:30 a.m. will be the last one this spring, so plan on attending.  In addition to the usual selection of goodies, there will be a special pastry treat this time, courtesy of Bill Berdine and Stacie Meyer. Come on down and spend some time with a cup and a goodie (or two!)

ReminderThe Water Aerobics group is meeting again from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the EE pool on Mon., Wed., & Fri.

Don't forget that all-important April 15th deadline... for submitting your photos for the Periodico's Photo of the Month Contest.
See the March Periodico for details, or contact the publisher, Denise Roessle at droessle@mac.com.  Each month's winning photo is displayed on the new bulletin board at the Ramada.

The Board of Directors regular monthly meeting will be held next Monday, April 18, at the Ramada starting at 1:00 pm.
An agenda will accompany the next issue of this Memo.

The Board has been receiving complaints regularly about people using the pool/spa without first taking the required shower.

Showering is not an option before using the Pool or Spa!

If you observe someone violating this rule, please speak to them and point out one of the three signs explaining this requirement. Anyone refusing to comply should be asked to leave the pool/spa area. With three signs posted, there is no excuse for non-compliance. Two of the postings are on high-visibility red signs -- they are pretty hard to miss.

Despite the sad appearance of our palm trees, we believe from all information available that they will survive, and once trimmed in June, they will look normal once again.
