The materials for the acoustic tile installation are here. Volunteers have been painting and cutting boards. A rolling scaffold has been obtained and the installation process is scheduled to begin at 9 am on Tuesday and then Wednesday, and Thursday...Well however long it takes.
Many hands make short work and there are many diverse tasks to be accomplished. So stop by the Ramada and join in the fun, if you've some time to spare this week.

Hospitality Committee
The Hospitality Committee will meet at the Ramada this Wednesday, at 10:00 to plan for the Sausage Fest to be held on February 26th. New volunteers are always welcome.

Hikers Plan for Feb 10th & 17th---But Not Today.
EE Hikers take today off but mark their calendars for the following Monday. The Proctor trail towards Elephant head will put them in full sun with a relatively flat hike on February 10th.  February 17 will be Everybody's EE hike starting off on our own EE trail, and heading out to "our own" crested Saguaro. Philosophical question. If you don't know what trail you're currently on, but you recognize this section because you've been lost on this trail previously, are you "lost" now? Discuss among yourselves.

Dessert Buffet
Indulge yourself for one sweet evening at the Enhancement Team's dessert buffet on February 14.
A wonderful array of desserts will be yours for the nominal price of $5.00. You can purchase a ticket or donate a dessert by calling Sandi Oster at 625-0039 or Marian Mundale at 625-2238. You can also purchase a ticket at the sweet soiree. 

Adventurers Journey to Kitt Peak
On Saturday, February 22, Eric Ellingson will lead the EE Adventure Club on a private tour of the Kitt Peak National Observatory.  Eric is very knowledgeable about Kitt Peak and is an experienced tour guide.  This will be a full day adventure, including a picnic lunch in the Kitt Peak area. Deadline to sign up for the tour is Monday, February 17.

Ramada Sale
The annual EE Ramada and Bake Sale is less than a month away. The Enhancement Team is looking for a lot more items to sell at the March 1 sale, so now is the time to start your spring cleanout. Proceeds from the sale are used to enhance our neighborhood, so you benefit from your donations.

What's Happening in the Ramada?
Walk by the Ramada and you'll see a flurry of activity. Arts Club members are making mosaic pots for the parks.  Maybe these talented artists can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but Barb Copeland and Stacie Meyer are proving you can make a quail out of a chiminea.  

Carver Cleans Up
Thanks to Dick Carver for his latest volunteer contribution to EE: picking up the brush on the walking trail.  Nice work.
