Monday Morning Memo-----------December 3rd

Good Morning:

Be sure to keep in mind the Hospitality Committee’s HAPPY HOUR, set to begin at 4:30 0n December 10th, at the ramada. The Enhancement Team’s auction will be held in conjunction with this event. You won’t want to miss this one. It is a freebee, courtesy of the Committee, and your reward for supporting all of their activities over the past year. Libations of an adult type will be served gratis, with a wide selection available. Attendees are asked to bring snack items for sharing. Please come and help ring in the holidays with your friends and neighbors, and have a little nip of cheer.

The baskets being put together for auction by the Enhancement Team are filling up with very useful items, such as everything needed for:

A Beer Party A Happy Hour

A Tea Party A Happy Golfer

A Visitation by the Grandchildren

To be auctioned separately---4 pieces of beautiful hand crafted jewelry. All items will be on display for viewing during the party on December 10th at the ramada, so come on down and have a look.

ATTENTION GOLFERS

Also coming up for bid will be a round of golf for four people at the Tubac Country Club. Plan to bid! You and your golf buddies may be getting a real bargain.

There is a signup sheet at the pool for people interested in working on the committee looking at all matters involving the pool and its usage. Size of the committee will be limited to 11 persons, and it will be chaired by Board member Joe McMahon. You can reach Joe with questions at 648-2202.

There will be a special meeting of the Board today at the ramada at 10:30. Any interested resident may attend.

If you have not already done so, now is the time to start decorating your light pole, in keeping with a long EE tradition. Help is available by the team of Sheila and Melodye, the light pole elves. The charge is merely $10.00 if you have the decorations, and $15.00 if you don’t. This includes removing them as well, after the New Year celebration.

Annual assessment billings from the EEHOA have been mailed out. The due date for the assessment is the first of the year, and the billings become delinquent and subject to a late fee if not paid by January 15th. Please attend to this promptly upon receipt of the statement. Note as well that enclosed with the statement is a Homeowner Annual Information Requirement form which must be completed to comply with our CC&R’s and the law. A new form is required each year. Please do not mark them "same as last year", as this creates extra work for those who have to record the data. Cooperation of our residents is much appreciated.

Kudos to our Periodico manager Arleen Boyuls, who is doing a fantastic job with the publication.

If you are interested in the Green Valley community bus service, which provides circulator service around Green Valley and Sahuarita, there is a meeting scheduled for tomorrow, December 4th, at the GVCCC offices at 101 S. La Canada, suite 13 to take ideas and input on designing the new transit service. The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. and is being called by the Regional Transportation Authority, in charge of creating and improving this service to area residents needing transportation assistance. Further information about the meeting can be obtained by calling the Pima County Rural Transit Authority at 740-6398.

Have a good week. How about this recent rain?
