Board Meeting Today The EEHOA Board will meet today at 1:00 p.m. at the Ramada.  Find out what's going on in EE (there's a lot), ask questions and express your opinion.  All are welcome.  If nothing else, it's a good way to catch up with the seasonal residents who have been returning in droves the last couple of weeks.  A copy of the meeting agenda appears at the end of this memo. TODAY:  GV Hospital Administrator to Speak in EE A representative of the new GV Hospital will give a presentation to EE residents after the Board meeting today. Hopefully, that will be at about 2:00. Don't miss this opportunity to find out what you want to know about the hospital.  If you can't attend, be sure to read the summary that will be included in the October Periodico. Wednesday Night at the Movies... The Grand Budapest Hotel will be shown starting at 6 p.m. (note the new starting time) at the Ramada. As always, popcorn is provided, bring your own beverage. All donations of cash or food will be given to the Community Food Bank. The Grand Budapest Hotel is the tale of the adventures of a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune -- all against the backdrop of a suddenly and dramatically changing continent.

New Time for Tennis Tennis will now start at 8:00 a.m. on Fridays.  This is a fun group, and new players are always welcome.

It's Madness The annual Midnight Madness sale at the White Elephant is this Thursday, October 23.  If you like designer fashions, shoes, purses and fine jewelry at bargain prices, this is the shopping event for you. Go early to find the best items.  You don't even need to take a nap before this "midnight" event. This is Green Valley, folks, and the sale takes place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
