Board Meeting Next Week
The October meeting of the HOA Board will be held next Monday, October 20, at 1:00 p.m.
at the Ramada. There are sure to be a couple of surprises. |

Green Valley Hospital Presentation in EE
The administrator for the new GV Hospital will speak and answer questions immediately after the HOA Board meeting next Monday. We expect his talk to start at approximately 2:00 p.m. |

Wednesday Movie
The movie this Wednesday will be Draft Day, a 2014 sports drama starring Kevin Costner. The story revolves around the general manager of the Cleveland Browns deciding what to do when his team acquires the number one draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Ramada. Popcorn will be provided. A donation ($2.00 suggested, but feel free to give more) to the Arts Club will be appreciated. Browns fans should wear brown and orange. Thanks to Kevin and Linda Welsh for organizing this popular event.

Pickleball Revs Up
"Ladies Only" pickleball will be played on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. The new Saturday start time is 9:00 a.m.

Book Group
The first meeting of the book discussion group took place last week, and was well attended. The group meets on the first Tuesday of the month, and is a great way to meet neighbors while talking about interesting books. The next meeting is Tuesday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ramada. The selection is Calling Me Home by Julie Kibler. December's book is Empty Mansions by Bill Dedman & Paul Clark Newell, Jr. Thanks to Cindy Krantz
