Helpful Hints for HOA Happiness
The Board is aware that not everyone reads and understands EE's CC&Rs and Rules, so they have asked the Monday Morning Memo to include reminders of issues that often occur, disrupting the peace and harmony of our community. We are paraphrasing and abbreviating the CC&Rs and Rules, so if an item applies to you, read the full applicable section of the CC&Rs or Rules or call a Board member for clarification.
Here's our latest hint: You are responsible for making sure your streetlamp is working. The Board asks that you periodically go out after dark and check. If the bulb isn't working, call Tom at 399-0455 and he will install a new bulb for you at HOA expense.
The HOA has only authorized the use of a 13-watt, warm-white, CFL bulb. This is what you should use if you want to replace a bulb on your own. If your lamp does not work with the new bulb or if the bulb is lit even during daylight hours, the problem is probably the sensor. This is an easy and inexpensive repair that you or a handyman can do. Sensors are available at local hardware stores. Questions? Call Tom.
