EE Board to Meet September 17 The EE Board will hold it's regularly scheduled meeting at the Ramada on Monday, September 17 at 1 pm.

Summer Blooms Bring Tiny Critters, Too This year's gorgeous monsoon blossoms may harbor an unpleasant surprise--ticks. Hiking the Santa Ritas?  Walking Lassie? Hunting for that golf ball in the rough? Petting the neighbors new puppy?  Trimming the vegetation in your yard?  Check for the little hitchhikers as you head into the house--starting with your shoes and socks and moving on up. Holiday Schedule for Trash Pick-up  Check with your trash and recycle haulers this week.  Their schedules may have changed.  Don't feed the javelinas and ravens by putting lunch out for them a day ahead of time.

Still time to Read September's Book Linda Sielken will lead the EE Book Discussion Group's first meeting of the season at the Ramada on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 1 pm. The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion by Fannie Flagg is the book of the month. New members are always welcome.

Upcoming Hospitality Events The new season is getting underway.  On Saturday, September 29 the Hospitality Committee will hold its popular potato bake featuring a baked potato with all the fixings.  More details in next week's memo.  Mark your calendars now for the October event on Halloween and start planning your costume.
