Potato Bar
On Saturday, September 29, the Hospitality Committee will hold its popular potato bar featuring a baked potato with all the fixings. Beverages and dessert are also included in the price of $8.00.  Come at 5:00 PM to socialize. Food service begins at 5:30. Wednesday Night Movie
Last week's movie was cancelled due to heavy rain at show time, so they'll try it again this week. The Right Stuff is the story of the beginnings of the US space program and the first seven Mercury astronauts. There's an early start time of 6:30 PM at the Ramada. Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.

Property Rentals
From the EEHOA Board: We are nearing the prime period for renting homes in Green Valley.  The Board is recommending that all homeowners in Esperanza Estates read section 9.12 of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&R's) to familiarize themselves with the rental restrictions within our HOA.  In a nutshell: The entire home must be rented, not just a portion; one renter must be 55+; no member of the rental party may be under 18; and the rental period has to be for 30 days or more.  For specifics, we refer you to the CC&R's.

Wireless Internet at the Ramada
The equipment at the Ramada became unreliable last week, making Internet access unpredictable.  The equipment has been replaced and the unsecured "EE-Ramada" network is back in operation.  The secured "EE-Ramada-WPA" which requires a password is also back in operation and it is recommended for any transactions that require you to log in to an on-line account such as banking, health records, etc.
To request the password, email ee-webmaster@msn.com, including your name & street address in EE in the message.  To allow the equipment to reinitialize regularly, it now turns off at midnight and back on at 3 AM; service is not available between those hours.

EE Name Tags
With so many residents attending our popular social events and the number of new residents who now live in EE, it's helpful to wear your EE name tag at Ramada events.  Need one?  Call Melodye at 520-336-8844 to place your order. Name tags are $6.00 and replacement magnets are $1.00.

Ramp Closures
ADOT has announced that Esperanza Boulevard and all ramps connecting Esperanza Boulevard and I-19 will close to all traffic between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, and Thursday, Sept. 27, so crews can re-pave the roadway under I-19. Seek alternative routes.
