Results of Special Board Meeting on Weed Control At the recent special meeting, the EEHOA Board approved the following resolution: Empower the weed spraying crew to identify homeowners who are failing to follow the CC&Rs regarding their obligation to keep their lot in "an attractive, well-kept, and maintained condition."  Those owners will receive a Notice of Violation letter from the HOA treasurer that details the problem and requests compliance, as well as providing information on how to solve the problem. Eleven letters are currently being sent. Vegetation Intruding on Sidewalks Dean Hess, Common Area Manager, would like to remind everyone to tend to the vegetation on their property that is intruding on sidewalks.  Things are growing rapidly this time of year and require fairly constant attention.  Don't forget the drooping palm fronds, agaves and cactus, as they can poke walkers.

Special Birthday Thrill Some people celebrate their 80th birthday with a big party.  Not so Priscilla Ziemer.  She'll be checking an item off her bucket list this morning when she goes skydiving in Eloy. Accompanying her on this momentous leap from 13,000 feet will be her grandson who shares the same birthday and another grandson who is coming in from Texas. No, Emil won't be jumping with her.  Happy landing, Priscilla!

EE Book Group Starts New Season The EE Book Discussion Group will hold its first meeting of the season on September 11 at 1:00 PM at the Ramada.  Linda Sielken will lead the discussion of The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion by Fannie Flagg.  New members are always welcome.
