NO Wednesday Night Movie at the Ramada
Movies will be on vacation until late September.
Since the completion of the new pickleball facility, the courts
are seeing daily use, even in our summer heat. The players
assemble at 7 AM, 7 days a week, and it's a rare day when there
isn't a game. There have been as many as 11 players show up to
play on some days, and play continues until the heat suggests it
is time to quit for the day. Greg Gramstad has
been appointed new court master, taking Kevin Welsh's
place, since he will be away for several months. Along with the
new courts, there are now chilled water and a large cooling fan
in the spectator area, powered by solar panels, as well as new
chairs. We can all be proud of our court facilities, which are
state-of-the-art. New players are always welcome.
