Wednesday Night Movie at the Ramada
This week's movie is Lawrence of Arabia, postponed from last week. Showtime is 7:15 p.m. EE thanks Eric & Jane Ellingson for sponsoring this event. This will be the last movie until mid-September.

Thanks to Hospitality
The Hospitality Committee once again gave us a great event last week to keep us socializing during the summer.  Thanks to the volunteers who worked in the heat to help prepare for the taco bar.

Re-Routing Return from Tucson
Planning a trip to Tucson on Monday or Tuesday? Might want to line up a return route that avoids I-19 between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. ADOT warns that work on the guardrails at the Pima Mine Road exit will mean periodic 15 minute closures of the southbound lanes.

In Memoriam
Our condolences to the families and friends of John Hayes (Placita Nueva) who passed away on July 30 and Don Helms (Calle del Regalo) who passed on August 4. Internment for Don will be on Friday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m. at Marana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, and a celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, August 26, at 2:30 at the Pima Friends Meeting, 931 N. 5th Avenue, Tucson, followed by a reception at American Legion Madera Post 131 on Esperanza Blvd. in Green Valley.
