Wednesday Night Movie at 7:15 at the Ramada
This week's film is Captain Phillips, the true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking of the U.S.-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years, by Somali pirates. Tom Hanks stars.
Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.

Please Welcome Some New EE Residents
The Bienvenidos Committee has been visiting some of our new residents to tell them about our wonderful neighborhood and learn something about them. Please join us in welcoming Ralph and Marsha Ring who live on Calle del Regalo. The Rings were living in their "forever home" in Paradise, California until a wildfire devastated the entire town in November 2018. Ordered to evacuate, they left in their car, with only their dog, Tate. Ralph and Marsha lost everything else. They lived in various shelters until they ended up at a friend's home in Queen Valley, AZ before visiting with friends in the Canoa Ranch area who introduced them to Green Valley.
After Ralph left Advanced Kinetics where he worked in R&D, Ralph and Marsha became lecturers on "Raising Conscientiousness".
Ralph's hobbies are gardening and making fern gardens with gnomes. Marsha loves plants and is interested in birds.
The Rings are happy to be living in Esperanza Estates and feel their home on Regalo is their new "forever home."
