It's July Fourth!
Be there at 4:30 pm today for drinks followed
by sloppy joes, chips, cole slaw. A five dollar donation will
also include an assortment of desserts--provided by any EE cooks
willing to donate. (Don't worry. Not everyone needs to bring a
dessert. There's always enough.) Bring your reading glasses and
your thinking caps; there's a Declaration of Independence game
planned following the meal. |

The Imitation Game-One Genius of Bletchley Park
Wednesday, July 6, 7:15 p.m. at the Ramada Eric
and Jane Ellingson will host EE's premier showing of
the Imitation Game. In 1939, the British intelligence
agency MI6 recruits Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) to crack
Nazi codes. He and the team at Bletchley Park give the Allies
the edge they need to defeat the axis powers in Europe. Those
of you who've seen The Forgotten Genius of Bletchley Park will
recognize the story line and setting but may be surprised by the
lack of credit given to organizer and cryptographer Gordon
Welchman. |

Ramada Kitchen Refrigerator Clean Out
The refrigerator in the EE Ramada kitchen area is designated for
Hospitality Use Only. Any items that do not
belong to the Hospitality Group will be cleaned out on
Friday, July 8th. Bringing a cold beverage, lunch, or
snack to the Ramada area? Feel free to leave items in the
poolside refrigerator temporarily, removing them in a timely
manner. |

New to EE? Changed your name to Seniory McSeniorFace? New name
badges will be available again in the fall, but for now
Melodye Cooke is putting orders on hold. Hum a few
bars of "See You in September," and let her know next fall if
you're interested. |
