Race to the Wednesday Night Movie at the Ramada
Trolley Boy and Longshot Max, winners of the Secretariat look-alike competition, star in the title role of this Disney sports dramatization of the rise to fame of the 1973 Triple Crown winner. Be in the starting gates by 7:15 p.m.  EE thanks Eric and Jane Ellingson for sponsoring this event.

Taco Night at the Ramada
Tuesday, August 8, is the night set for the EE summer Taco Bar event. Enjoy tacos, refried beans, dessert, beer and wine for $7. The fans will be on. Still too hot? Bring a swimsuit and jump in the pool to cool off. Start time is 6:00 p.m.

Pre-register for Paws in the Pool
Your pooch can enjoy a dip in the pool this summer at the second annual Green Valley Recreation (GVR) 'Paws in the Pool' scheduled for Friday, August 18 from 7 to 10 a.m.. Puppies must be 6 months old to participate. Pre-registration with proof of vaccinations is required. The Las Campanas customer service center will be happy to assist you. A $5 donation to the GVR Foundation is suggested.

Greening in Green Valley
