Wednesday Movie Night
This week's movie (7:15 PM at the Ramada) is RV. Bob Munro (Robin Williams) and his dysfunctional family rent an RV for a road trip to the Colorado Rockies, where they ultimately have to contend with a bizarre community of campers. (Some of you RVers may recognize some of these characters from your own experiences.) Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.

August Hospitality Event on the Horizon
Need a break from cooking? It's the hospitality team to the rescue! Next event will be on Saturday, August 11, at 5:30for the social hour, and food will be served at 6:00. Menu is taco bar and all the fixins, dessert, beer and wine. Price of the meal is $8 per person, camaraderie is free.

Are You Ready for a Disaster?
Shake your head in wonder at folks surviving floods, fires and storms? All are unlikely events in Green Valley, but not outside the realm of possibility. Want to be the one in your neighborhood who's ready to respond? The Salvation Army will hold Disaster Worker Training on Saturday, August 18 from 9 am til 4 pm at the Salvation Army Service Center at 555 N. Land Acquisition Pledge Drive Update

From the Board: Rental Property
"In order to clear up any confusion about EE's official policy on rental property, please note that the CC&Rs are very specific. Sections 9.12.4 and 9.12.5 - quoted below - expressly prohibit the creation of short term rentals and the renting of owner occupied lots - such as is the case in one current situation. Section 9.12.4 states: 'No Lot may be leased for use as a hotel/motel or for transient purposes, which is defined as a period of less than thirty days.' Section 9.12.5 states: 'To assure that the Lot is occupied by a single-family, no Owner shall occupy his/her residence and rent out a portion to any other person or family. Owners shall only lease their Lots to a single family.' "
