Independence Day
Gathering
More than seventy EE residents gathered to mark Independence Day
at the Ramada. New residents and past participants enjoy a great
meal and a well-stocked dessert buffet. Thanks to Linda

The Movie This Week? Well, It's Complicated
There's another
Wednesday night
movie on tap this week at the Ramada thanks to
Jane and Eric Ellinsgon.
Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin star in
It's Complicated, the 2009
romantic comedy about marriage, divorce, and everything in
between. The show starts at
7:15 pm.
Come a bit early to position your chair and grab a cushion. |

Pickleball Participants Peter Out
As summer's temperatures climb, pickleball participation
declines. For now, the courts are empty. As temperatures drop
and population rises in the fall, a new schedule will be
announced. |

Sew and Sewers Sew On
EE's fabric artists continue to meet at 1 pm on
Thursdays. Most meetings are at the Ramada, but if
temperatures soar or storms threaten Louise McCabe and
Jane Ellingson find accommodations for the group. Just
follow the trail of yarn to find them. |

Past Time to Trim Those Tall Torches
If you have tall palms on your property and they've not
been trimmed this year, you're inviting disaster. Last
Wednesday's edition of the Green Valley News showed firemen
dousing a blazing palm. Yours could be next. The HOA requires
owners to trim tall palms on their property by June 30.
Call anyone you like. Monstrosity Tree Service did common area
trees in EE this year. Their phone is (520) 230-7131. |
