Monday Morning Memo

Still Time to Trim Those Palms
Concerns about lightning setting fire to dry palm fronds make trimming palm trees on your EE property a must.  June 30 is the deadline imposed by the Board.  After that date, the HOA will arrange to have any untrimmed trees trimmed, with the homeowner being billed at cost plus up to a 50% surcharge.

From the Depths of the Sea, to the Pool in EE
Submarines are the theme for the Hospitality Committee's pool party on Saturday, June 17. Watch a submarine movie and eat giant sub sandwiches. $5.00 per person will include subs, chips, dessert and drinks (soda, beer and wine.) You can take a dip in the pool if you'd like. The party will start at 6:00 p.m. when the temperature will likely be a bit cooler.

Happy 103rd!
Happy Birthday to John Pierce on Circulo del Sur who celebrates his 103rd birthday on June 8. To put this in historical perspective, Woodrow Wilson was president and WWI had not yet begun when John was born.

Green Valley Hospital Focus Group
GVC is hosting a citizens' focus group on June 20 at 10 a.m. to discuss the future of the hospital. The meeting will take place at the GVR West Center.

In Memoriam
Long time EE resident Lew Demuth (Placita Nueva) passed away on May 28.  Our condolences to his family and friends.
