Ramada Kitchen Floor Work
A reminder that work begins on Tuesday, June 14.  The pool will still be available through the north gate and through the south gate for those entering on the steps coming in from the west (garden) end. The kitchen should again be available Thursday, June 23.

Chicago, Chicago That Wonderful Town
The Ellingsons are sponsoring another movie night on Wednesday, June 15 at the Ramada at 7:15 p.m.  Please enter the Ramada through the garden to avoid kitchen floor work.  The film is Chicago, a 2002 musical comedy crime legal drama based on the musical of the same name, exploring the themes of celebrity, scandal, and corruption in Chicago during the Jazz Age.

Attention Fiber Artists
Due to the Ramada floor work, the group will meet at Jane's house (160 Holgado) this Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

Storage Facility Is Progressing
Under Ben Sheffield's watchful eye, the garage doors have been installed, excess dirt has been removed, the site has been graded, the water line installed, and we passed the roof nail inspection. (This means something like the roof deck nailing pattern meets code requirements. Aren't you glad you read the MMM today?) Someone should start planning an opening party.

Streets Paved with Gold
Okay, so maybe not gold, but thanks to the lobbying efforts of some of our Board members, some of EE's worst potholes are being filled in.

Pre-Register for Paws in the Pool
Take your dog for a dip in the pool at Madera Vista Saturday, August 6.  Members and non-members alike are welcome at the GVR operated pool, but pre-registration is necessary.  Your best friend must be 6 months old, licensed, have up-to-date vaccines and wear a soft collar (no swimsuits required).
