One More Time...HOA Board Meeting
Monday, June 19 at 1 p.m. is the
last regular EE Board meeting of the summer. Put it on
your calendar. There's plenty of room. If you're here in
Green Valley in June, there's a lot of empty space on
that calendar.
Pool Party
Submarines are the theme for the Hospitality Committee's
pool party on Saturday, June 17. Watch a submarine movie and eat giant sub
sandwiches. $5.00 per person will include subs, chips,
desert and drinks (soda, beer and wine.) Swimming is
optional. The party will start at 6:00 p.m.
when the temperature will likely be a bit cooler.
Still Time to Trim Those Palms
Lightning-started fire concerns make trimming your
tall palms a must in EE. June 30 is the deadline.
The HOA arranges for trimming after that with the cost plus a
surcharge of up to 50% billed to the homeowner.
Weed Wackers
Thanks to Tom Cooke and Boyd Morse for
braving the triple-digit temperatures to eliminate some
unsightly weeds from the common areas.
It's a good
reminder to homeowners to make sure to weed your front
yards to keep EE tidy when weeds proliferate in the
summer.
EE Book Discussion Group
The group is planning a lunch at Stables in Tubac on Friday, June 30,
and would like to open it up to anyone in EE who would like to come. The
group will be meeting at the Ramada at 11:30 to carpool. Please RSVP to

GV Hospital Focus Group - Update & Live Stream Access
GVC is hosting a citizens' focus group on June 20 at 10 a.m. to
discuss the future of the Green Valley Hospital. They
will also talk about some new services and the financial
condition of the hospital. The hospital just announced
that Humana members now have in-network access to the GV
Hospital.
The meeting will be held at the GVR West Center
