Great Party
Good food, wonderful company and balmy weather contributed to the success of EE's annual Cinco de Mayo potluck.  Thanks to organizer Howland Swift and all the volunteers who worked on the event. And, yes, Tom Cooke told his Cinco de Mayo joke.  Mark your calendars now so you don't forget the next social event on July 4.

HOA Board Meeting
The May meeting of the HOA Board is scheduled for next Monday, May 16, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ramada.

Sharper Image
The lettering on EE's Portillo and Esperanza monuments is clearer and sharper today thanks to Joy and Hewlett Crist, who got our their paint brushes to spruce up the signs. No word as to whether or not they're for hire for your house.

Artisans Still Meeting
While many groups are winding down for the season, the Artisans plan to continue to meet at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoons. Bring your project or just come to socialize.

Summer Reading
If you spend the summer sitting in the shade with a good book, be sure to check out the Book Exchange at the Ramada. Last time I looked, it was chock full of best sellers.
