The May meeting of the HOA Board is scheduled for today, May 16, at 1:00 pm in the Ramada.

Don't Be an Old Poop--Come to the Movie
Wednesday night is movie night at the Ramada.  Be there at 7 pm for a showing of the 1981 Academy Award winner, On Golden Pond. Delight once again at Katherine Hepburn and Henry Fonda, and chat with Jane and Eric Ellingson about their New Hampshire lake, the film's setting.

Plan Ahead for Bikers' Ride of Silence
Wednesday, May 18 will see bikers gathering at the East Center at 5:30 pm to join the Ride of Silence to honor bikers who have lost their lives on the road during the last year. Setting out at 6 pm, riders will take a 7 mile circular route along Esperanza, La Canada, Duval Mine Road and Abrego. Don your helmet and ride over to meet them, if you'd like to join them on the road. Drivers might want to avoid the route from 5 to 8 pm.

OLLI OLLI It's Not Too Late
From bone-building work-outs to the power of myth, OLLI may have the summer stimulation you're looking for.  The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute has classes scheduled for June--when it's too hot to go outside. Check out their local schedule at http://olli.arizona.edu/olli-ua-courses/campus/green-valley-6 .  (You'll probably have to copy and paste this one--techie Craig Surprise is on the road.) Take as many summer classes as you like for only $50.

In Memoriam
Sheila Bennen, former long-time EE resident and Board member, passed away on May 9.  Our condolences to her family and friends.
Services will be today, Monday, May 16th at 9:30 am in Nogales at Sacred Heart Church.
