Swarm to the Board Meeting Today
Bring a cold drink and find a comfy cushion in time

HOA board meeting. Further finance discussion, an
increase in Green Valley Council dues and insect
infestations are on the the agenda. Read the teeny tiny agenda at
the bottom of this memo and ask yourself, "In an age-restricted community, isn't everything old business?"
Wednesday Movie
This week's movie is Sully staring Tom Hanks. The
film follows the January 2009 emergency landing of US
Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson
River--in which all 155 passengers and crew survived
with only minor injuries--and the subsequent publicity
and investigation. Showtime is 7:00
p.m. at
the Ramada. Thanks to Jane

Celebration of Life
Please join us at the Ramada on Wednesday,
May 17, from 3:00
to 4:30 to
celebrate the life of Denise
Roessle, who passed away on May 2.
Thanks for the Party
Nancy Ferguson's first
event as one of the new heads of the Hospitality
Committee was a great success with a fun-filled Cinco de
Mayo potluck last week. There was lots of good food,
some colorful attire and a few laughs for the break-the-pinata contest. The Committee will continue to bring us
more events this summer, with a pool party scheduled for
June.
Breaking and Entering Legal in Arizona
Arizona now protects concerned citizens who break a
vehicle window to save the life of a person or pet in a
hot car. As long as you call the police first and have a
"good faith belief" that there is a creature in danger,
you will be protected from lawsuits for damage to the
vehicle. No, rescuing a dozen wilting donuts or rapidly
warming beer, is not covered.
Help Continue the Periodico
The EE Periodico has been an important part of EE since
our HOA began. Joe McCalpin is
seeking volunteers to help keep the publication going.
