Wednesday Night Movie
This week's movie (7:00 PM in the
Ramada) is The Post. Steven Spielberg directs Meryl
Streep and Tom Hanks in this thrilling drama about the unlikely
partnership between Katharine Graham, the
first female publisher of a major American newspaper, The Washington Post and editor
Ben Bradlee, as they race to catch up with The New York Times to
expose a massive cover-up of government secrets that spanned
three decades and four U.S. Presidents. Thanks to Jane
and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.
Cinco de Mayo Celebration Saturday
The Hospitality Committee is hosting EE's traditional
potluck this Saturday starting at 4:30. Margaritas,wine
and soft drinks will be available. Dinner scheduled to begin at 5:00.
Festive attire is encouraged.
Attention Book Discussion Group Members
At the next meeting on May 8 at 1:00 PM at
the Ramada, the group will discuss Hotel Paradise and
will also consider selections for next year. The members who
attend the meeting will pick the finalists and all members will
be given the opportunity to vote by email. You can find a list
of recommended books in the March issue of the Periodico
available on the EE website esperanzaestates.net.

Back Yard Clean-up Time
The Board would like to remind residents that the EE CCR's
prohibit the storage of items in the common areas outside of
patio walls. A number of owners have bricks, blocks, garden
items, and other materials stored in the alleyways and
common areas between homes. If you are one of them please
remove all such items and place them inside your walls. If
it becomes necessary for the HOA to remove them, the owners
will be charged the costs of doing so. The Board appreciates
your cooperation.
