EE HOA, Green Valley, AZ
Monday Morning Memo

April 1, 2019        Esperanza Estates        Green Valley, AZ

Volunteers Needed
EE is still looking for candidates to fill an unexpired 2-year HOA Board position.  The positions of Neighborhood Relations and Green Valley Council Representative are also open. If you are interested, contact Dave Sielken at 908-346-1760 or email him at dwsielken@gmail.com.

EE Sidewalk Users Needed
Common Area Maintenance needs your help to identify areas of concern with our sidewalks. Where are the areas with vegetation overgrowing the sidewalks and obstructing passage? Where are the uneven sidewalks that are hazardous? Pima County will repair uneven sidewalks if we let them know where they are. The goal is to have clear, safe sidewalks. If you identify any hazardous areas, please record them on the sign up sheet at the Ramada.

Movie Night
This week's movie on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the Ramada is Coal Miner's Daughter, the biographical story of Loretta Lynn, the legendary country singer who rose from humble beginnings in Kentucky to superstardom and changed the sound and style of country music forever. Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones star. Thanks to
Jane & Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.

Tour EE's Parks
Our parks are looking spectacular! On Thursday, April 11, the EE Fiber Arts Group will host an informational tour of all the parks, with a docent at each park to point out what has been accomplished by the EE Gardeners. To take the tour, meet at Shade Tree Park on Circulo del Sur at 3:00 PM, and carpool (or golf cart pool) around to the parks. The tour will end in time for you to attend the Hospitality Committee's event at the Ramada.

Burgers and Hot Dogs on the Menu
EE Hospitality Committee is planning to fire up the grill at the Ramada on Thursday, April 11. In addition to burgers and hot dogs, there will be cole slaw, chips, dessert and complimentary beverages. Social hour starts at 4:30 and dinner at 5:00. Cost is $8.00. The event will be a good chance to say good-bye to some of your neighbors who are starting to depart for the season.

Pickleball Court Renovation Week One
Work began a week ahead of schedule!  The contractors plan to prepare our courts for pouring concrete in the next week and plan an early morning (about 3:00 a.m.) pour on April 8 or 9. They hope to have all the concrete poured by sunrise.  It will be noisy for a few hours on the streets near the courts. The plan for completion of the entire project is the middle of May.
Questions? Call Max Perry at 520-331-2973.

Name Badges
Unfortunately, the Ramada isn't Cheers where everybody knows your name. So, it's helpful to wear your EE name badge.
Need one? Call Melodye Cooke at 520-336-8844 to order yours for $6.00.

Happy Hour Change to Thursday this Week Only
Happy Hour at the Ramada will start at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 4 and the following Fridays: April 19, May 3, May 17, May 31.
Bring your own beverage, glasses, utensils, and an appetizer to share.

Monday Morning Memo Submission Deadline
Have an EE organization item that needs to appear in the next MMM? Please submit your information by Friday evening. You don't need to write the article, just give us the facts. If an urgent, last-minute situation arises after the deadline, please call to let us know you're sending information.
