Household Hazardous Waste Event
GVC's annual HHW Event is coming up on Saturday,
March 19, from 8:00 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of
Valley Presbyterian Church on Camino del Sol. EE's Joe
McCalpin is
in charge of the event, and many Esperanzans have volunteered to
help out. To help reduce the number of cars, please try to
combine items from several households. Here's another hint:
if
all you have to dispose of is latex paint, simply leave the lid
off the can until the paint dries out, then throw it into the
regular trash. Latex paint is not considered hazardous,
although it will be accepted at the event. For a complete list
