Wednesday Movie
This week's movie at the Ramada is Calendar
Girls, a 2003 British comedy film starring Helen
Mirren and Julie Walters. The film is based on the true
story of a group of Yorkshire women who "dropped it all
for a good cause" when they produced a nude calendar to
raise money for leukemia.
Show time is 7:00 p.m. Thanks

New Garden
Thanks to the EE Gardeners, the garden at the Ramada has
been revitalized. Jane Ellingson, who designed the garden years ago,
selected rosemary, lantana and bouganvillea to add color
to the updated garden. The garden is a lovely spot to
rest on your walk. Stop by and enjoy.
EE Home Tour
The EE Home Tour was a huge success! Special thanks to
the homeowners who graciously invited us to view their
homes, the Hospitality Committee for the wine and cheese
party, the Enhancement Team and Jan
Kawalski who
organized the tour, the docents, ticket sellers Melodye
Cooke, Jane Ellingson and Louise McCabe, Robin Lockwood for
the lovely brochure cover, artist Steve
Day who
created the homeowners' plaques, and Cynthia
Surprise for
the home descriptions.

be posting photos on the website.
Hazardous Waste Event on April 1
The GVC household hazardous waste collection event, is
set for Saturday
morning, April 1, from 8:00 to noon, in the
parking lot of Valley Presbyterian Church on Camino del
Sol. Lines may be long, so please try to combine your
items with those of your neighbors to limit the number
of cars.
