Monday Morning Memo

Italian Dinner
If you like lasagna and Caesar salad, you'll want to be at the Ramada at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday when the Hospitality Committee serves up an Italian dinner complete with bread sticks, biscotti, and the usual beverages.  Price is $7.  You'll also be able to purchase a ticket for a raffle of mesquite clocks and other items crafted and generously donated by Jim Copeland and Terry Shay for the benefit of the Enhancement Team.

Park Progress
Six pine trees are now planted and waiting to grow in EE Park. Thanks to Gardeners Bill Berdine, Roberta Bower, Wayne Bower, Dick Carver, Jim Copeland, Kathy Konrad, Kathy Stocker and Cynthia Surprise who planted the trees in their new home.  Later this spring the Gardeners will be planting Texas rangers, sunflowers and lantanas to add color. The area will then get a layer of gravel and some paths.  The plan is to keep the park looking very natural.  Stop by and check out this latest improvement to our common areas.

Board Meeting Next Monday
The regular monthly Board meeting will be held next Monday, February 15th at 1:00 p.m. at the Ramada.

Coffee, Donuts and More
The monthly complimentary coffee & donuts will take place on Wednesday, February 17th at 8:30 a.m. at the Ramada. Vern Wise has arranged for Lt. Jeff Palmer of the Pima County Sheriff's office to attend this month's gathering.  It will be an opportunity to talk very informally, one-on-one with the head of the Green Valley Sheriff's office. Thanks to the Cookes and Surprises for sponsoring this monthly event.
