Help Clean Up
Rush on over to the Ramada at 10:00 AM today to help the Enhancement Team with the annual cleanup of the Ramada.

The Return of Movie Night
Movies will again be shown at the Ramada on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson. This week's movie is Victoria and Abdul, starring Judy Dench. The film is based on the real life relationship between Queen Victoria and her servant, Abdul Karim.

Desserts, Desserts, Desserts
The Enhancement Team Dessert Buffet will be held Saturday, February 10 at 2 PM at the Ramada. You can buy a ticket for $5.00 by contacting Jackie Rautio (602-206-3354) or Jane Ellingson (520-625-7782). Tickets will also be available at the door. Please call Jackie if you would like to donate a dessert (homemade or store bought). There will also be some healthy choices. (Huh? I thought desserts were healthy.)

Board Vacancy
There's still room for YOU on the board. Interested in getting involved in decisions that make EE a great place to live? ContactBoard President Dave Sielken 908-346-1760 or dwsielken@gmail.com.

Common Area Maintenance -- Dean Hess & Dave Sielken
Capital Projects -- Frank McCabe
Recreational Facilities -- Tom Cooke & Doug Syme
Neighborhood Relations -- Eric Ellingson
GVC -- Dean Hess
Finance Committee -- Nancy Ferguson, Hugh Gates, Joe McCalpin, John Nesavich, Howland Swift
Volunteer Appreciation -- Tom Cooke

GVR Pickleball Courts on Esperanza Blvd
GVR plans to build pickleball courts on the vacant land across from EE on Esperanza Blvd.  GVR will hold public meetings on February 15 at 1 PM at Las Campanas Rec Center and February 22 at noon at the GVR East Center to offer homeowners a chance to voice their opinions.
A committee comprised of EE residents concerned about the impact the proposed development could have on EE has been formed. They will be going door-to-door in the next few days with a petition opposing the development.

Women's Pickleball Resumes
Women's afternoon pickleball is once again on the schedule.  If your morning activities have prevented you from taking part, you'd like additional time to play, or you'd like to learn the game, perhaps 1:00 on Thursdays works for you. If interested players decide another day would be better, the day is open to change. Call Claudia Rose at 520-648-2663 with questions.

Book Discussion Group
The EE Book Discussion Group will meet at the Ramada on Tuesday, February 6, at 11:00 AM to discuss The Known World by Edward Jones. Robbie Swift will lead the discussion. New members are always welcome.

All Tuned Up
Thanks to Bill Pratt for doing the annual tune up of Tillie the water tractor and the Gator that the weeders use for spraying. This is one more example of the contributions our volunteers make to our community.

Help the EE Ramada Sale
The Enhancement Team is looking for donations for the annual Ramada/Bake Sale on March 3. This is Enhancement's big money-raising event and they need your donations to make the sale a success. They will accept household goods, jewelry & accessories, furniture for home and garden, garage items, bicycles, computers (working or not), and working printers.  They are NOT able to take TVs, clothing, mattresses or box springs, or sleeper sofas. They will pick up your items promptly. To donate items, call Patty Tracy 520-444-4472 or Patti Purcell 971-409-3511. To donate baked goods call Sandi Oster 520-625-0039, Jane Ellingson 520-625-7782 or Terry Golden 520-661-5222. To donate jewelry, call Robin Lockwood 612-618-5582 or Vera Gates 415-235-8685.
