New Board Appointments
The Board appointed Max Perry to fill
the vacancy on the Board. The Board also appointed Bob
Winterland and Joe McCalpin as our GVC
representatives.
Party Today at the Ramada
There will be a gathering at the Ramada today at 3:30 for
those who want to celebrate the decision about the pickleball
courts. Please bring an appetizer and your beverage of choice.
Special Board Meeting
The Board will hold a special board meeting to discuss
the Esperanza Blvd property on Wednesday, February 28, at 1:00 PM at the Ramada.
Any interested resident is invited to attend.
Movie Night
Due to continuing cold weather, there will not be a movie this
week. Movies will be back on Wednesday, March 14, when the film
will be Dunkirk. Thanks to Jane

(Reminder: the Ramada is equipped with an inductive hearing loop
to assist anyone with a 'T-coil' equipped hearing aid or a
portable loop receiver to hear the dialog clearly. If you'd

EE Ramada/Bake Sale This Saturday
The big shopping event of the season is this Saturday,
March 3 at 7:00 AM. EE residents will have exclusive
shopping privileges on Friday, March 2, from 4:00 to
5:00 PM. It's not too late to donate to the sale. They
will accept household goods, jewelry & accessories, furniture
for home and garden, garage items, bicycles, computers (working
or not), and working printers. They are NOT able to take TVs,
clothing, mattresses or box springs, or sleeper sofas. They will
pick up your items promptly. To donate items, call Patty

also be held on Friday at the time of the early-bird sale. If

Friday from 2:00-3:00. On Saturday bring them as early as 6:30.
Coming Soon to a Park Near You
The EE Gardeners led by Jim Copeland are
making their way through the parks in EE to clean up and
spruce up the areas. Last week they tidied up Mesquite Park
and have their eyes on Palo Verde del Norte and Wishing Well
Park for future projects. Thanks to Eric and Jane
Ellingson for donating a new table and benches for
Mesquite Park. It will be a nice place to rest on your walk
or for a picnic.

All EE residents are invited to a cocktail party celebration
for the 60th Wedding Anniversary of Hugh & Cynthia
Gates to be held on Thursday, March 1st, from 4-6
PM - at Vera's home, 1142 Circulo del Norte. Please RSVP to

The Board has named the Monday Morning Memo as an official place
of notice of Board action and special meetings. This means that
while notice may also be given in other ways, if a special Board
meeting is reported in this memo, it satisfies the notice
requirements of section 6.3 of the EEHOA bylaws.
EE Paper Shredding Event
Our Enhancement Team is considering holding a paper shredding
event for EE residents on the second Tuesday in April (the
10th.) Beacon
Secure will be collecting documents to be shredded off-site.
The team will hold the event only if enough residents are interested. To let them
know your interest in participating, click
