February Board Agenda
Our HOA Board meets Today, February 20 at 1 PM in the Ramada. There's a teeny tiny agenda at the bottom of the MMM.

Coffee & Donuts
Start your morning off on Wednesday, February 22, at 8:30 with a complimentary cup of coffee, a donut and a chat with your neighbors in the Ramada. Thanks to Tom Cooke and Craig Surprise for bringing us the monthly event.

Annual Ramada Sale Saturday, March 4th
EE residents will have exclusive early bird buying on Friday, March 3rd from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
We can always use more donated items, including: all household items, jewelry, accessories, furniture, lawn furniture, garage items, bicycles, computers (working or non-working), printers (must work).  We do not take TV's, clothing, mattresses or box springs. To donate items, call Marian Mundale 625-2238, Barb McCalpin 867-8067, or Kraylen Miholer 393-8133. To donate bake sale items contact Sandi Oster 625-0039. We will also hold the bake sale on Friday from 4:00 to 5:00 at the time of the early bird sale. If you wish to donate baked goods that day, you may bring them on Friday from 2-3. On Saturday bring them as early as 6:30.

EE Home Tour 
Get a peek at your neighbors' lovely homes. On Sunday, March 26th from 1:00 -- 3:00 p.m. you'll have a chance to tour some of EE's interesting homes and find ideas for decorating your own. Decorating styles range from traditional to modern, so there's something for everyone's taste. A wine and cheese party at the Ramada will follow the tour. Tickets are $15 each or two for $25 and may be purchased at Coffee & Donuts this Wednesday, the March 16th Hospitality event, or by calling Melodye Cooke (336-8844), Jane Ellingson (625-7782) or Louise McCabe (445-6237). Tickets are limited, so buy yours soon.

EE Book Exchange Clean Out
Last opportunity to find a good book at the EE Book Exchange!  If you've been looking for a "good read" or have donations for the Book Exchange located at poolside at the Ramada, now is the time!  On March 1st the titles at the Book Exchange will be "weeded" and become part of the EE Thrift Sale on March 4th.

Excursion to Tucson Botanical Gardens
The EE Artisans are planning an outing to Tucson Botanical Gardens to view the Frida Kahlo exhibit on Thursday, March 9. The group will car pool from the Ramada at 2:30, visit the exhibit and gardens, have a light dinner at the cafe in the garden, attend the lecture on "Frida: She Wore It Her Way," and then car pool back to EE at 7:30. The cost is $10.00 for the lecture (admission to the gardens is free after 3:00) plus the cost of your dinner.  If interested in going, you must RSVP by leaving a voice mail for Karen O'Brien at 303-807-8357 by March 1.  Seating is limited so please reserve early. Sheriff's Non-Emergency Number
Please note that the non-emergency number for the Pima County Sheriff's Department has changed to 351-4900.

Green Valley Council News
GVC is sponsoring a meeting with ADOT and the Green Valley Community. This public hearing will be held at GVR East Center on Friday, February 24, at 1:30 PM.  The Center is located at 7 S. Abrego Drive.  Concerned community members are encouraged to attend this meeting for a brief presentation from ADOT.

No Foolin'--Hazardous Waste Event on April 1
Green Valley Council has announced that the spring event is scheduled for Saturday morning, April 1.  Mark your calendar.

After months of being without a head, our ceramic snake in Esperanza Estates Park/Flag Park is now back together and still wearing her big smile and red lipstick.  Check her out when you pass by.
