Optimist Sausage Fest Tuesday
The Optimists will be cooking their famous homemade
sausages, and Hospitality will provide chips, beverages and
dessert for $8.00. This is a fundraiser for
the Optimists.
A handcrafted mesquite coffee table and a mesquite lamp with
copper shade by Jim Copeland and Terry Shay will
be auctioned off as a fundraiser for Hospitality.
Happy hour begins at 4:30. Dinner at 5:00.
Book Club Meets Tuesday
The EE book club meets this Tuesday to discuss Locally
Laid by Lucie Amundsen. (It's about an egg farm.) No time to
read it before the 1 PM Tuesday Ramada meeting?
Get an early start on the March read: Unbroken by Laura
Hillenbrand.
EE Gardeners
The EE gardeners will meet at 1:00 at the
Ramada on Wednesday, February 13th. They will
be transplanting cacti at several locations. (Look behind you
before you back up.) Everyone is welcome.
Last Chance for Pingo Reservations
Who? YOU and 120 EE neighbors. Seating is limited.
Call Robin Lockwood at 612-618-5582 by this Thursday, February
14 for your reservation.
What? Bingo and Pizza (salad, cookie and soft drinks, BYO beer
or wine)
When? Thursday, February 21st from 3-5 PM
Where? The Ramada
Why? To say thanks from the Enhancement Committee for the
cooperation of residents throughout the year.
How much? No charge.
Fiber Arts Special Project
The group will meet at the Ramada on Thursday at 1:00.
This week they will be painting rocks and flower pots. Some pots
are available from Barb Copeland (952-250-6716).
If you are bringing your own pot, prepare it by painting the
inside. Paints and brushes will be available.
EE Board Meets Next Monday, February 18
The next regular meeting of the EE Board is scheduled for next
Monday at 1 PM at the Ramada.
Safety Alert
We are sad to report that a resident fell in her courtyard
on a cold, rainy evening and couldn't get back to her house.
After a neighbor found her lying in the courtyard in the morning
she was taken to the hospital in critical condition. If you
live alone, we hope you will keep your cell phone with you at
all times. If you have a medical alert button, please wear
it.
EE 2019 Name and Address Directory
You can purchase your Directory for $5 during the
first half-hour of the Sausage Fest. Or contact your
Neighborhood Watch block captain. Cheri Day at 303-594-3314 can
give you the name and phone number of your block captain.
Donate to Enhancement's Ramada Sale on March 2
Drop off donated items at the shed next to the pickleball
courts any Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM For
pick-up of heavier items call Patty Tracy at
520-444-4472. NO mattresses, TVs, electronic cables,
hide-a-beds, clothing, paints or chemicals, please.
Electronics: Only working laptop
computers and working printers with ink
cartridges will be accepted. Donations of electronics
will only be accepted at the shed. Non-working electronics can
be recycled at Best Buy. If you have a jewelry donation for the
patio sale, please contact Robin Lockwood at 612-618-5582.
Baked Goods, Yum!
Baked goods (homemade or purchased) contribute a sizable
amount to the profits of the March 2 Ramada
sale. Help our shoppers spend more time, and money, by providing

Calling All Trucks
Enhancement needs volunteers with trucks to move large items
donated for the Ramada Sale. If you can help, please call Patty

Happy Hour Dates
Happy Hour at the Ramada at 4:00 PM on the
following Fridays: February 22, March 8, March 22, April 5,
April 19, May 3, May 17, May 31. Bring your own beverage,
glasses and utensils, and an appetizer to share.
