Holiday Potluck on Tap for December 15
Get ready to make that special holiday treat that you don't dare keep around the house.  Mark your calendar and share that irresistible delight with your neighbors on Tuesday, December 15th at the EE evening potluck.

The Holiday Elves Are Back
No "Bah Humbug" heard here! EE has a long-standing tradition of decorating our street light posts for the holiday season from Thanksgiving to New Years. If you don't have the time, or the energy, or you aren't here during the holidays, you can enlist the aid of the Enhancement Elves. They will do your decorating for a mere $10 if you have the decorations or $15 if you don't.  If you need the electrical plug-in to go in the socket in your post, the charge is an additional $2.00, but the adaptor then becomes yours.  The charge includes both putting up and removing the decorations.  Deadline for this service is December 15, so if you want the elves to work their magic at your lamp post, call Jackie Rautio at 269-7864. They do extremely nice work and never leave cookie crumbs or milk glass rings when they're done.

Enhancement Team Raffle
Wouldn't a lovely pastel painting of Mt. Hopkins from the east side be a fabulous touch for your EE home?  The pastel was created by Susie Hanley from the Tubac area.  The estimated value of the framed painting is in the $300 range and can be yours for the price of a ticket for the Enhancement Team's raffle. The more you buy, the better your chances. Tickets are $1.00 for 1 or 6 for $5.00. The painting will be on display and you can purchase a ticket at the Holiday Potluck on December 15 and at the First Day Celebration on January 1 when the winning ticket will be pulled.

Attention Javelinas!
Your nights of revelry and free meals at our Ramada are over! That new gate and fence around the trash cans are to keep you out, out, out!  Thanks to the Board for taking care of that nasty crew.

Lights Lights Lights!
Parks and streets in EE are glowing with lights thanks to crews of EE elves.  It's a great welcome, if you've come home after dark. Thanks to all the great neighbors in the spirit of the season.

Authors' Showcase Luncheon
Many EE residents have attended this event and enjoyed it in the past. The Santa Cruz Valley Chapter of the Society of Southwestern Author's 9th Annual Authors' Showcase Luncheon will be held on Sat., Jan. 16th, 11:30-2:30, at the Desert Hills Lutheran Church. Eight local authors will read from their works of fiction, memoir, humor and poetry, after a delicious lunch catered by Sweet Pea's of Arivaca. There will also be a drawing for door prizes donated by local restaurants and retailers. Tickets are $20 until 12/26, $24 thereafter. Advance ticket purchase is required by 1/11/16 and this is often a sell-out event. Contact Denise Roessle, droessle@mac.com or 399-3312 ASAP.
